The engineering team at Filecoin has been busy. The layer one decentralized data storage protocol has launched an on-chain smart contracting platform, announced a partnership with NodeDAO to launch staking protocols, and is reportedly exploring a basket of AI Integrations.
Filecoins native token (FIL) initially surged 12 percent on news of the platform upgrades but has descended back to pre-announcement levels in recent days.
